A key first step in the construction of the much anticipated Port of Miami Tunnel, Lemartec has begun construction of a new state-of-the-art 40,000 SF manufacturing facility. Among its many functions, this facility will be used to manufacture the high precision pre-cast concrete panels that will serve as important structural elements of the tunnel itself. [...]

The facility is expected to break ground in early 2011 and will produce over 20 million gallons of biodiesel, and over 10MW of electricity, per year.
