Seaboard Marine New Maintenance & Office Building at PortMiami

Seaboard Marine is a world-class ocean carrier with container shipping services between the United States, the Caribbean Basin, and Central and South America. Seaboard Marine’s primary operations include over 200,000 square feet of warehouse space in Miami for cargo consolidation and temporary storage, plus a ninety-acre terminal at PortMiami.

Lemartec was retained as Prime Construction Manager to build the new maintenance and office building for Seaboard Marine. This project is located at PortMiami in Miami, FL, and consists of approximately 17,000 SF including office space, vehicle maintenance shop space, pre-engineered metal warehouse space, and restroom/break room space. The warehouse contains an exterior loading dock area with a ramp and stairs, and the office area includes a fire-rated separation between the service bay and the office area, wall cladding, and roof system over structural frames with drywall demising partitions.

The project was awarded LEED BD+C Silver certification.
